OFWGKTA

Yeah, I'm late to the game but better late than never. OFWGKTA (Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All... what else could it stand for?) have been turning a lot of heads lately with their disgustingly awesome videos, a recent appearance on Jimmy Fallon Live and even an invitation to perform at this year's Coachella festival. At first glance it might be easy to say that these guys are just getting attention because of their shocking Jackass-esque style videos but don't be fooled-- these youngsters know exactly what they are doing and the music speaks for itself... and what it says is, "Fuck you, go kill yourself!"

FREE EARL!!!

Tyler the Creator (of OFWGKTA)- "Yonkers"

Earl Sweatshirt (of OFWGKTA)- "Earl"

This looks Rad and it's Bama Stylz!

2011 What's up

The end of 2010 saw me being super lazy on this thing. I promise to be better in 2011. Let's start it off with a banger. Times New Viking have just signed to Merge Records in the US and Wichita Recordings in the UK and we couldn't be happier. Check out the super fresh video for "No Room To Live"

We are very excited to be releasing Times New Viking’s new record, Dancer Equired in Europe on 25th April. The album is the first time the trio escaped to a studio. Recorded between Columbus Discount Recordings and the famed Mus-i-col (closest thing to Muscle Shoals we got) during the Summer of Violence. With the help of Adam Smith and Dustin White, Times New Viking produced and recorded and album that sounds like a mellow night out. Though it abandons the pissy histrionics of the past, it remains loud and brash, with mammoth guitars still piled on, only magnifying the bright beautiful traits of the band has nurtured since the beginning.
It would be easy to describe the album as a new chapter, but in knowing the forward-thinking, never-settled energies of Times New Viking, this is an entirely new book. Rip it up and start again.
Times New Viking also premiere the video for album track No Room To Live today. Directed and edited by Brandon Reichard and Pelham Johnston, with production from the band, the vibrant footage saw around 40 artists from Columbus, Ohio and elsewhere contribute by printing each frame from real video then hand drawing, colouring or decorating (nearly 3,000 of them) and putting back together.

New Gruff Rhys Video "Shark Ridden Waters"

A music video for shark ridden waters from the upcoming Gruff Rhys album. It features the genius French actor Roxane Mesquida and is a Godard inspired Mediterranean meditation by director Peter Gray, depicting a distracted man lost in a world of social networking.

The Black Mafia Family (BMF), was a drug trafficking organization originally based out ofDetroit, Michigan. Started by the Flenory brothers, Demetrius and Terry, by the year 2000 they had established multi-kilogram cocaine distribution cells in cities throughout the United States. Through their Los Angeles-based drug source, they had direct links to Mexican-based drug cartels.[1] They established two main hubs for their operation; the Atlanta, Georgia hub was operated by older brother Demetrius, while the Los Angeles, Californiahub was operated by Terry.
Around 2000, they began to try to legitimize and enter the Hip-Hop music scene, starting a company called BMF Entertainment. Through BMF Entertainment they helped promote a number of artists, including Young Jeezy, as well as BMF Entertainment's sole artists, Bleu DaVinci. Before their entrance into the music business, they were known to associate with a number of high-profile hip-hop artists, including Jay-ZFabolous, and Bun B.
In 2005 the Drug Enforcement Administration indicted members of the Black Mafia Family; ultimately securing convictions of running a Continuing Criminal Enterprise against the Flenory brothers. Both would be sentenced to 30 years to life.[2] Subsequent indictments would eventually target over 150 members of the organization. Prosecutors would allege the organization made over $270 million over the course of the conspiracy.
